Teenage boys rob newsagents in London with a plastic broom
The suspects got away with confectionary and soft drinks
CCTV footage has been released showing two teenagers threatening a shopkeeper with a broom during a robbery of a London newsagents.
The pair demanded money from the till but escaped only with confectionary and soft drinks.
The incident took place on 23 April at AJ corner shop in Wandsworth. Police were called to the scene at 9:24am – the robbery had taken place minutes before.
Suspect 1 [image ref 213451] is described as a black teenager wearing a fur lined coat, black trousers and black shoes.
Suspect 2 [image ref 213452] is described as a black teenager, wearing a dark hooded jacket with a white sports badge on the right elbow.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise or witness the two teenagers shown on CCTV.
