Vicar held in sham marriage investigation

A Church of England vicar has been arrested on suspicion of conducting sham marriages, according to the UK Border Agency.

Rev Nathan Ntege, 52, of St Jude with St Aidan Church in Thornton Heath, south London, was arrested and bailed until 6 December pending further inquiries. The church was searched as part of the investigation and the Diocese of Southwark and Church of England were informed.
