A 21-year-old woman has been charged with terror offences over video clips about the murder of Fusilier Lee Rigby.

Rebekah Dawson, from Hackney, east London, is accused of disseminating terrorist publications and the encouragement of terrorism, and will appear at Westminster magistrates’ court today.

She is jointly charged along with Royal Barnes, 22, also from Hackney, who appeared at the same court to face terror charges linked to the footage. Ms Dawson is accused of making video recordings on 22 May, the day of Fusilier Rigby’s murder. Mr Barnes is due to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday.
