A cambridge graduate was found guilty of stealing antique books worth £40,000.
William Jacques, 40, nicknamed "Tome Raider" after stealing rare volumes in the 1990s, would use a false name to sign in at a Royal Horticultural Society library before stuffing books under his jacket, Southwark Crown Court was told. He will be sentenced next month.
