Three men guilty of liquid bomb plot
Three men have been convicted of plotting to murder hundreds of people in an al-Qa'ida attack.
Ibrahim Savant, Arafat Waheed Khan and Waheed Zaman will be sentenced on Monday after being convicted of conspiracy to murder by a jury at Woolwich Crown Court. They face life in prison.
The three men were recruited to detonate homemade liquid bombs on seven transatlantic jets. They were cleared by a jury of their role in targeting aircraft but found guilty at a retrial of plotting mass murder.
