Teenager in court over schoolgirl's murder
A teenage boy accused of murdering schoolgirl Rebecca Aylward will make a second appearance before magistrates today.
The body of 15-year-old Rebecca was found in woodland at Aberkenfig, Bridgend, south Wales, on October 24.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named, was arrested and charged with her murder two days later.
He appeared before magistrates at a youth court in Bridgend the following day where he was remanded to secure accommodation.
The boy's parents, brother, aunt and uncle were all present for the brief hearing last Wednesday.
The teenager will return to the same court today for further discussions regarding the case.
