Teenager held over screwdriver attack death
Detectives investigating the death of a father of two who was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver made a further arrest today.
West Midlands Police said a 16-year-old boy from Birmingham had been detained on suspicion of murdering Sarfraz Khan, who died in hospital last week.
Another youth, also aged 16, has already been charged with Mr Khan's murder and was remanded in custody at Birmingham Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
A police spokesman said the latest arrest was made in the Balsall Heath area of Birmingham this morning by officers from the West Midlands' Major Investigation Unit.
Mr Khan, 24, died in hospital on March 16, four days after being stabbed during an argument near a children's play area in Sparkbrook.
