Three arrested after man stabbed to death in West Midlands car park
'Knife crime ruins lives and devastates families'
Three men are being questioned on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in a West Midlands car park.
The victim, who was in his 20s, was killed at about 1am on Saturday in Brierley Hill, near Dudley.
He died at the scene in Engine Lane, police said.
Three men – aged 25, 27 and 30 – have been arrested and are being questioned.
Detective Chief Inspector Edward Foster, of West Midlands Police, said: "We are working to establish the circumstances around the sad death of this man.
"We have specialist officers supporting his family at this extremely painful and difficult time. Knife crime ruins lives and devastates families."
A cordon remained in place on Saturday afternoon with detectives conducting house-to-house enquiries, the force said.
Mike Wood, MP for Dudley South, told the region’s Express & Star newspaper: “We need to do everything we can to get these horrible, lethal weapons off our streets and make sure anyone carrying them receives the punishment they deserve.”
