Six more people arrested in a police swoop on a group allegedly planning to target a power station have been charged, police said today.
Officers arrested 114 people during a major operation at a school in Sneinton Dale, Nottingham, on April 13 in connection with a suspected plot to target the nearby Ratcliffe-on-Soar plant.
Nottinghamshire Police today said six people had been charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated trespass.
They are Spencer Cooke, 43, of The Square, Bestwood Village, Nottingham; Bradley Day, 22, of Spring Terrace, Swansea; Ben Julian, 32, of Groombridge Road, London, and Christopher Kitchen, 31, of Dean Street, Brightlingsea, Essex.
Jesse Harris, 23, of Hartley Avenue, Leeds, and Martin Shaw, 44, of Campbell Road, Oxford, were also charged with the same offence.
A spokeswoman said Bradley Day would appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Friday, October 9, while the other five would appear on Monday, October 12.
Eight other people have been charged with the same offence and are due to appear before Nottingham magistrates in October.
