Three teenage boys were rushed to hospital after being stabbed outside a school in Birmingham.

Emergency crews were called to University of Birmingham School on Weoley Park Road, Selly Oak, at around 4.20pm on Monday.

West Midlands Police said the boys' injuries were not thought to be serious.

The force has launched an investigation.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault shortly afterwards. He is being held in police custody.
