A university professor has been convicted of scrawling polite graffiti on luxury cars.
Stephen Graham, 47, a specialist in cities at Newcastle University, scratched words like "very silly" and "really wrong".
He admitted four counts of damaging cars at Newcastle Crown Court, and asked for 23 similar offences to be taken into consideration. He will be sentenced next month.
