Police searching for woman with 'pink nails and heavy make-up' after attack on London Tube
A 60-year-old passenger was assaulted on the Northern Line on Wednesday
Police are trying to trace a woman with “long pink nails and heavy make-up” after a passenger was attacked on the London Underground.
Northern Line trains had to be temporarily stopped on Wednesday morning during the incident in rush hour.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said officers were called shortly before 9am to reports of an assault on the Tube at Kentish Town station.
“Officers spoke to a 60-year-old woman who had been assaulted by another woman on a southbound train as it travelled between Highgate and Kentish Town,” he added.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
The suspect is described as black, between 5ft 9ins and 6ft tall, with long pink nails and heavy make-up.
She was wearing black skinny jeans, a black coat, a white vest top and sandals.
