Police chief Chris Allison warns cuts are biting

Police chiefs will have to make "very difficult decisions" over cuts to specialist officer numbers in the wake of the Olympic Games.

Met Assistant Commissioner Chris Allison – the Olympic Security Chief – had asked chief constables to delay making cuts until after the Games. But he said the cuts were already starting to bite.
