Police arrest six over Israeli Embassy demonstrations

Police continue to make arrests in connection with the violence that erupted outside the Israeli Embassy in London earlier this year.

Police say they arrested six people today.

In all, police have arrested about 60 people so far in connection with the protests.

More than 50 police officers were injured.

Most of the injuries were minor, but one police officer was knocked out when he was hit by a metal object. And at one of the demonstrations, a knife was found embedded in the building's gate post after police say it was thrown at them.

The protesters turned out over two days in January to demonstrate against Israel's recent military incursion into Gaza.
