A police constable and a police community support officer have been charged with drugs offences, their force said today.

PC Matthew Alan Kille, 30, and PCSO Lisa Slavin, 20, both based at Slough police station in Berkshire, have been charged with wilful misconduct in public office, possession of cocaine and possession with intent to supply cocaine.

They will appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court on 20 August.

Both work for the Thames Valley force and were arrested in May.

A 33-year-old female officer and two female members of police staff, aged 29 and 36, arrested as part of the same investigation, have been released from bail and will not face any further criminal proceedings.

The female officer and the 29-year-old staff member are subject to an internal misconduct investigation, a Thames Valley police spokesman said.
