A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after two bodies were found at an address in the West Midlands.

Detectives said a man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene in Moat Road, Oldbury on Tuesday.

Officers forced their way into the address at 4am over concerns for the welfare of the people living at the property.

The suspect was arrested at an address in Smethwick at 5:30am on Tuesday.

The force said he remains in custody and the victims' family is being supported.

Police have asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
