Man killed by falling masonry
A 27-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a piece of falling masonry in Battersea, south London, Scotland Yard said today.
The man, who is yet to be identified by police, was hit as he walked along Battersea Rise at around 9.20pm last night, the Met said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency workers. His next of kin are yet to be informed.
