Man hospitalised after being 'set alight' at Long John's Bar in Great Yarmouth
Four men have been arrested following the incident in the early hours of Sunday morning
A man is in hospital being treated for serious burns after he was set alight at a nightclub in Great Yarmouth.
Norfolk police received a call at about 1.30am on Sunday morning following reports of a disturbance involving a group of men at Long John's Bar on Britannia Pier.
The 34-year-old man, who suffered serious burns to his hands and torso, was taken to the James Paget University Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Police arrested four men aged 24, 26, 28 and 33. They were taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Officers confirmed that all the individuals involved, including the victim, are known to each other and are from the Sheffield area.
Enquires are continuing into the incident to establish the exact circumstances. Police have asked any witnesses who have not yet spoken to anyone or who have knowledge of the incident to contact them.
