A man was arrested on suspicion of murder following the discovery of two bodies in a house, police said today.
The bodies of a man and woman were found by officers at a property in Brettingham Avenue, Norwich, shortly after 9pm on Saturday night, Norfolk Police said.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of both murders in the early hours of this morning and is being held in custody, a force spokesman said.
Post-mortem examinations will be carried out later.
Detective Chief Inspector Jes Fry, who is leading the inquiry, said: "It would appear that all the people involved in this incident were known to each other."
