A man has been charged with murdering a woman whose body was found inside a suitcase dumped in a London canal.
Thomasz Kocik, 38, was arrested on Monday and will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later today.
A spokesperson for Scotland Yard said that although formal identification was not complete, police believe the victim to be Marta Ligman.

The 23-year-old Polish woman had lived in Buckingham Road, Brent, and her family have been informed.
Her body was found in the Grand Union Canal on Sunday near Little Venice, a popular spot for boat trips lined with bars and restaurants.
Kocik, also of Buckingham Road in Brent, has been remanded in custody.

Two other men arrested as part of the investigation, aged 34 and 30, have been bailed as inquiries continue.
