Man charged over DJ murder

A 28-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a radio presenter in Scotland. Khalid Mamoun Sarwar made no plea after being charged in connection with the death of Nasim Jamil, 54, who worked for an Asian community radio station, Awaz FM.

Mr Sarwar was remanded in custody and will next appear in court on 29 December.
