Man banned from anywhere with slides after playground fetish lands him in court again
Christopher Johnson recieved a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order
A man has been banned from going anywhere near a slide after his fetish for playground equipment landed him in court for a second time.
Christopher Johnson, 46, was arrested when he was seen simulating a sex act with a slide at Stoke Green Park on 18 August at 10.45pm.
The Stoke man later pleaded guilty at Coventry Magistrates Court to outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner.
Johnson, of St Osburg’s Road, received a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order and is banned from any location – including parks, leisure centres, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, or play grounds – where there is a slide.
He received a three-year community order, encompassing sex offender treatment for 18 months, as well as rehabilitation treatment. He was also fined £55, a £60 victim surcharge £85 costs and a £180 criminal courts charge.
Four people spotted Johnson in August and called the police.
The court heard he also outraged public decency on 1 July last year when he undressed and performed a sexual act on the top of a slide at Coundon Hall Park in Waste Lane, Keresley.
