Malaysian tells of riots 'robbery'
A Malaysian student told a court how he knew he was being "robbed" by bogus Good Samaritans during the summer riots, but could not stop them.
Wood Green Crown Court heard blood was pouring from Ashraf Rossli's mouth as his portable games console was taken. Footage of the incident was posted on YouTube. Mr Rossli, 20, had been in Britain for just a month when he was attacked in Barkingside, east London.
John Kafunda, 22, of Ilford, and Reece Donovan, 24, of Romford, deny robbery, theft and violent disorder. The trial continues.
