Man stabbed to death in Lowestoft

Detectives investigating incident believe it was a targeted attack

A 28-year-old man has died after being stabbed in Lowestoft.

Suffolk Police said officers were called to Underwood Close at just before 11.14pm on Saturday to reports of a man with serious injuries.

The victim was treated at the scene for stab wounds and died after being transferred to James Paget Hospital, officers said.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and detectives investigating the incident believe that it was a targeted attack.

Mike Brown, of Suffolk Police, said: “While an arrest has been made we are continuing to make a number of inquiries and this remains a live and active investigation.”
