Juror ill in 'poisoned curry' trial
The case of a woman accused of poisoning her former lover and his new fiancee by spiking their curry did not sit at the Old Bailey today.
The judge said one of the jurors was ill and the situation would be reviewed tomorrow if he was not better.
The jury retired yesterday to consider its verdicts.
Lakhvinder Cheema, 39, died in January last year after eating a curry which the prosecution says was laced with aconite poison by jealous Lakhvir Singh, 45.
Singh, a married mother of three from Southall, west London, denies murder, attempted murder and administering poison.
