Four men remanded in custody on Pakistan-linked terrorism charges
Four men appeared in court yesterday charged with terrorism offences after being arrested as part of a investigation linked to Pakistan.
Khobaib Hussain, Ishaaq Hussain and Shahid Kasam Khan, all 19, and Naweed Mahmood Ali, 24, are accused of fundraising for terrorist purposes, travelling to Pakistan for terrorist training and travelling abroad to commit acts of terrorism.
The men, all from Birmingham, were arrested last Tuesday in an operation which has seen eight others charged, including three who are alleged to have been plotting a suicide bomb attack in Britain. They were remanded in custody to appear again at Kingston Crown Court on 9 December.
