Four charged over Leicester house fire that killed mother and three children
A 16-year-old and three other men have been charged with murder after a fatal house fire in Leicester killed four members of the same family.
Leicestershire Police said it had charged the youth, a 24-year-old man and two 19-year-old men with four counts of murder after the deadly blaze in Leicester.
The occupants of the house; Shehnila Taufiq, 47, her daughter Zainab, 19, and sons Bilal, 17, and Jamil, 15, all died after a blaze took hold of their house in Wood Hill in the early hours of Friday, 13 September.
All four men are due to appear before Leicester Magistrates Court today.
Two men, aged 20 and 19, have been remanded in police custody and a 21-year-old man has been released.
An 18-year-old was charged on 19 September with four counts of murder and he will appear at Leicester Crown Court at a later date.
