Five charged with woman's murder
Five people have been charged with the murder of a 27-year-old woman whose body was found on a disused railway line, police said today.
Warwickshire Police said two women, aged 18 and 21, two 19-year-old men and a 17-year-old male had been charged with the murder of Gemma Hayter late last night.
Ms Hayter, of Biart Place, Rugby, was found dead by a jogger early on Monday alongside a railway embankment in the town, having suffered severe head injuries.
A police spokesman said all five defendants would appear before magistrates in Nuneaton later today.
