Ferry cleared of criminal damage

The pro-hunt campaigner Otis Ferry – son of the singer Bryan Ferry – was cleared of criminal damage yesterday after snatching the car keys of two paparazzi who were pursuing the actress Sienna Miller.

Mr Ferry, 25, of Shrewsbury, acted to stop a group of photographers chasing the actress after last year's Baftas. Ms Miller gave evidence on Mr Ferry's behalf, telling West London magistrates' court that she felt "hunted" by the "frenzied" photographers.
