Essex woman 'stashed gold bars in bra'
A British woman hid gold bars from a £1m robbery in Belgium inside her bra, the Old Bailey was told yesterday.
Belgian police found the ingots on Sheron Mancini, 53, as she tried to board a ferry for the UK in October, jurors heard. At an Antwerp hotel room, officers found more stolen gold and silver.
Six men have admitted conspiracy to steal. Ms Mancini, of Roydon, Essex, John Corley, 52, of Whitstable, Kent, Kyriacos Nicolas, 30, of north London, and his father Andreas, 50, of Cambridgeshire, deny conspiring to launder the proceeds of crime.
The trial continues.
