Thames Valley police have retrieved a weapon from the family home of Janet Jordon, Philip Howard, and Derrin Jordon, who were found murdered in a house in Vicarage Road, Didcot on Saturday 23 May.

Investigating officer, Det Supt Chris Ward, head of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit, said: "We have recovered a weapon from within the crime scene but our search for the suspect continues today."

"We are conducting a number of searches to try and locate the suspect. These will continue today and extra officers and national resources have been deployed in order to assist us with that.

The police have also released new images and details of Jed Allen, a man wanted in connection with the murders of a three people in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

The images show Mr Allen, 21-years-old, at a WHSmith store at Oxford railway station just before 6pm on Saturday 23 May.

Det Supt Chris Ward, added: “We believe that Jed boarded a train from Didcot to Oxford at 5.24pm and arrived in Oxford at 5.45pm.

“He was then captured on CCTV at the WHSmith store at Oxford railway station just before 6pm.

“Jed is wearing a red or maroon shirt, a dark hooded jacket with a white trim on the zip, blue jeans and black shoes.

“After visiting WHSmith, we believe that Jed then walked to Oxford University Parks.

“If you see Jed please do not approach him, instead call 999 immediately.

Mr Allen works as a groundskeeper at Oxford University Parks and is 6ft tall, identifiable by a distinctive tattoo of a spider on his left hand.
