Care worker to face child sex charges trial

A community care worker will stand trial today for a string of child sex offences.
Tracy Dawber, 43, of Southport, Merseyside, previously denied one count of sexually assaulting a child under 13, between January 1 and December 31 2008.
She also pleaded not guilty to one count of "arranging or facilitating" for a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity, on August 20 2008.
She also denies five counts of permitting indecent photographs of a child to be taken and six counts of possessing indecent images of children between 2008 and 2009.
Dawber will be tried for all 13 offences at Bristol Crown Court today. She is currently remanded in custody.
