Builder in court after teenager shot dead

A builder today appeared in court charged with the murder of a teenager shot dead on an estate.
Marvin Henry, 17, was shot in the chest on the estate near Bray Road in Mill Hill, north-west London, on Wednesday.
Ithai McPhee, 21, of Abbots Road, Edgware, was remanded in custody at Enfield Magistrates' Court. He will appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday November 3.
Marvin, known as Spooky, was taken to Barnet General Hospital by ambulance but died on arrival.
The teenager, who was known to police, had recently left a referral unit designed to help expelled pupils get back into mainstream education.
Some friends described him as a cheerful and friendly teenager who enjoyed playing football and rap music.
The victim was the 17th teenager to be murdered in the capital this year.
Police have now arrested 13 young people over the murder including a 21-year-old woman, and 12 young men aged between 14 and 21.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said they would answer bail in late November.
