A Briton was jailed for four years today for a £673,000 tax fraud that funded a champagne lifestyle in Monaco.
William Batchelor was arrested at the check-in desk at Luton Airport in November 2010 as he was about to fly back to the Principality.
Batchelor, 61, a property developer who owned a £100,000 vintage car, confessed the fraud to his accountant after making up paperwork about land deals that never happened.
