Body found in missing man hunt
A body believed to be a man who went missing after taking his dogs for a walk has been found by police.
Ian Pearson, 41, from Salford, was reported missing from the Little Haven area of Pembrokeshire by his family.
Crews from the emergency services, mountain rescue and coastguard teams helped search for Mr Pearson after the alert was raised on Wednesday.
Appealing for information earlier this week Dyfed-Powys Police said Mr Pearson had left Little Haven on foot with his two border collie dogs.
Inspector Jackie Blackmore said: "Following an extensive search by specialist teams a body of a man matching Ian's description was found in a densely wooded area in South Pembrokeshire on Saturday afternoon.
"Ian's next of kin have been informed and formal identification will take place today. There are no suspicious circumstances and HM Coroner is being informed.
"Our sympathies and thoughts are with Ian's family and our thanks go to the search teams who helped us over the last three days."
