A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an alleged attack where two teenage boys were forced to fight and one was made to perform a sex act on the other.

Police said the boys were approached by a male on the top deck of a bus departing from Brixton, south London, at about 8pm on 11 February.

He allegedly intimated that he had a knife and forced the pair off the bus and to a nearby park, where they were made to fight each other.

They were then allegedly made to steal from a shop before being taken to a stairwell in a block of flats, where one boy was made to perform a sex act on the other.

The incident was described as a “most unusual crime and distressing crime” by Scotland Yard.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “A 14-year old boy was arrested late on Thursday, 19 March on suspicion of causing a male 13 or over to engage in penetrative sexual activity.

“He remains in custody at a south London police station."
