Your support makes all the difference.THE LAWYER defending a man charged with the murder of a teenage girl appeared on television yesterday to state his opposition to a videotaped interview of the girl being used at the forthcoming trial, writes James Cusick.
The solicitor, John Robinson, is defending Alexander Jackson, 34, from Hull, who is charged with the murder of 14-year-old Diana Hunt. No plea has yet been lodged.
Mr Robinson said the inability to cross-examine any of the statements made by the dead girl on the video tape would disadvantage the defence case.
Diana Hunt's body was discovered by police at a house in Hull on 12 September.
