Two women were charged after a six-year-old boy, Anthony Burke, of Brinnington, Stockport, died after being struck by a car. Two seven-year-old girls were also injured in the incident. Trudy Evans, 28, of Brinnington, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving while under the influence of alcohol. Janice Bateman, 44, also of Brinnington, was charged with aiding and abetting the offences.
