Spurs out at Leeds as Chelsea survive
Tottenham Hotspur were added to the list of top-flight FA Cup ejectees, Andre Villas-Boas' side crashing out 2-1 at Championship Leeds United. Elsewhere, Chelsea twice came from behind to draw 2-2 at neighbours Brentford, of League One, and earn a replay next month. MORE
Late turnaround for Blue Sharks
Cape Verde scored twice in the last 10 minutes to earn a 2-1 win over Angola in the African Cup of Nations and book their place in the quarter-finals. Managed by air traffic controller Lucio Antunes, the debutants reached the last eight after finishing second in Group A.
Armstrong claims ridiculed by chief
Lance Armstrong's claims that he used drugs to make it a level playing field have been ridiculed by an anti-doping chief. "It's offensive to clean athletes who are working hard to play by the rules," Travis Tygart said. "It's just simply not true." MORE

Ian Bell scored an unbeaten century to help England end their tour of India on a winning note. Chasing 227 to win the dead rubber fifth ODI in Himachel, the batsman struck 113 as England reached their target with 16 balls to spare. MORE
