The Football Association is considering the legal ramifications if it decides to remove John Terry (right) from his position as England captain ahead of Euro 2012, as the controversy over his July trial over allegations of racial abuse continues. The FA is not bound to delay its own investigation into the allegations until after the tournament, but has been cautioned by the Crown Prosecution Service about the perils of prejudicing the trial. A decision over Terry’s captaincy may be announced as early as today. MORE

Rule changes to boost new season
