Rooney looks abroad as Chelsea saga drags on
Wayne Rooney is willing to contemplate a move abroad should his move to Chelsea fail to materialise Jose Mourinho’s side failed with a second bid for the England international, right, thought to be in the region of £25m, last weekend, with Rooney’s options limited.
Manager David Moyes has concerns over the possibility of Rooney joining a title contender. French side Paris Saint-Germain were also initially interested in the 27-year-old, who missed last night’s friendly in Sweden with a shoulder injury, although Laurent Blanc’s side have since moved for Napoli’s Edinson Cavani.
