After winning super-heavyweight gold in a narrow victory over the reigning Olympic champion, Roberto Cammarelle, Great Britain's Anthony Joshua says his next focus is the amateur World Championships in October 2013, not immediately turning professional. Joshua won by countback after the bout ended 18-18.
"It was a close fight and it has made me realise I need more experience at the top level," the 22-year-old said. "I will stay amateur and fight at the World Championships. I have time on my side and right now I just want to enjoy this beautiful medal."

Mcllroy in pole position to prevail
Rory McIlroy took a three-shot lead into the final round of the PGA Championship last night. The Northern Irishman finished the last nine holes of the third round to post a five-under-par 67 and head into the final round at seven under par. MORE
