Sir Robert Gore Micklethwait QC, of Englefield Green, Surrey, a former Chief National Insurance Commissioner, left estate valued at pounds 1,038,707 net. He left pounds 10,000 each to the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple Benefactors Fund and the Barristers Benevolent Association.

Sir William Wilkinson Addison, of Epping, Essex, the historian, a former Verderer of Epping Forest and chairman of the Magistrates' Association for England and Wales, left estate valued at pounds 329,520 net. After personal bequests of pounds 70,000, he left pounds 150,000 and one-third of the residue to the Epping Forest Centenary Trust, Loughton; pounds 100,000 and one-third of the residue to Waltham Abbey; and pounds 50,000 and one-third of the residue to St John the Baptist Church, Epping.
