Cicely Gwladys, Lady Hendy, of Great Haseley, Oxfordshire, left estate valued at pounds 1,108,899 net. She left two Henry Moore maquettes to the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, and other Moore sculptures to the Leeds Art Gallery.

Mrs Selma Coupe, of Bockleton, Worcestershire, left estate valued at pounds 3,566,569 net. She left 40 per cent of the sale proceeds of her house to the National Trust, 20 per cent to the RNLI, 4 per cent each to the RNIB, RNID, British Red Cross, Friends of the Children of Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Cancer Relief Macmillan Fund, 2 per cent each to the Salvation Army, National Council of YMCAs and the YWCA, and the remaining 14 per cent for other charitable purposes. She left pounds 5,000 each to Saddleworth Museum, Greater Manchester, the NSPCC, Children's Society and National Trust, pounds 2,500 to St Michael's Church, Bockleton, and pounds 1,000 to Bockleton Parish Hall.
Mr Charles Furst, of London NW9, left estate valued at pounds 292,378 net. He left his entire estate to the JNF Charitable Trust, with the request that gifts be made to the Jewish Institute for the Blind, Jerusalem, the Israel Cancer Association, and Magen David Adom, Tel Aviv.
Miss Evelyn Mary Roadnight Roper, of Padbury, Buckinghamshire, left estate valued at pounds 884,403 net. After personal bequests of pounds 197,000, she left the residue to the Imperial Cancer Research Fund.
