Mr Eric Lobb, of Radlett, Hertfordshire, former chairman and managing director of John Lobb, bootmakers, left estate valued at pounds 707,114 net.
Lloyd Tyrell-Kenyon, fifth Baron Kenyon, of Whitchurch, Shropshire, Chairman of the Trustees of the National Portrait Gallery 1966- 88, left estate valued at pounds 2,858,639 net. He left certain paintings to the National Portrait Gallery, pounds 2,000 to St Chad's Parish Church, Hanmer, and pounds 500 to the Clwyd Fine Arts Trust.

Mr Frederick Stewart James, of Penkridge, Staffordshire, left estate valued at pounds 1,123,435 net.
Mr Ernest Arthur Cobb, of Liphook, Hampshire, left estate valued at pounds 1,799,036 net.
Winifred Maud Dowell, of Stretton under Fosse, Warwickshire, left estate valued at pounds 1,104,735 net.
