Whoopi Goldberg’s reason for not wanting to get married are very relatable. Namely: “I don’t want somebody in my house.”

The actress and host of The View took a more sceptical view on marriage during an interview with the New York Times.

Goldberg, 60, has been married three times, and a fourth is not on the cards.

“I’m not that interested,” she said. “I’m much happier on my own. I can spend as much time with somebody as I want to spend, but I’m not looking to be with somebody forever or live with someone.”

"I’m the round peg, and marriage is the square hole,” she explained. “You can’t have a square hole, can you?
