At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Appearing on the podcast Allegedly, the Spice Girls singer recounted a fight with All Saints singer Shaznay Lewis in which she claims she ripped out her weave.
“There was this girl group called All Saints and I had already beaten up one of them in the bathroom, the black girl, Shaznay,” says Mel B.
“Because she started giving me attitude so I went into the bathroom and tried to rip her weave off and she chokes me and then we kind of got split up but I won."
But the Americas Got Talent judge made it clear there were no ill feelings, adding: “And the funny thing is they just brought out a new record last week. It’s really good!”
Speaking to co-host comedian Theo Von and filmmaker and journalist Matthew Cole, the 40-year-old mother-of-three also alluded to plans for a Spice Girls reunion.
“It's a never-ending question," she said.
"But the thing is we are in talks with each other, closely about this reunion. So until there's something official to say there's no point in saying anything … I do feel like it’s getting closer and closer to that point ... I’ve been trying to get those bitches back together for years!”
If the Spice Girls do, indeed, join forces for the long-awaited 20th anniversary of their trademark hit debut single and worldwide number 1 “Wannabe”, it has been widely rumoured Victoria Beckham will not be part of it.
Mel B spoke candidly about Beckham during the podcast, saying: “She's just a little bit of a b***h to people. But she's very down to earth, with a great sense of humour. I think between the five of us, we're all b***hes at some point”.
