An interview with the 29-year-old multi-millionaire CEO of the dating app Tinder went exactly as expected.

In a revealing interview with the Evening Standard, Sean Rad made a series of outlandish claims about himself and his life that have raised eyebrows.

Rad co-founded Tinder in 2012 and his time at the helm of the company has not been without controversy.

He was demoted last year following a lawsuit from Tinder's Former President of Marketing Whitney Wolfe, who alleged another co-founder Justin Mateen sexually harassed her. Mr Mateen resigned from the company. However, less than a year later Rad was reinstated as CEO.

From famous supermodels propositioning him to believing the definition of ‘sodomy’ to be something very, very different, here are some of the interview highlights:

On turning down supermodels who ‘begged’ him for sex:

Rad said a “supermodel, someone really, really famous” had recently ‘begged’ him for sex, however, he turned her down so she called him a “prude”.

He said: “She’s one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen, but it doesn’t mean that I want to rip her clothes off and have sex with her.”

The definition of ‘sodomy’:

Following the supermodel revelation, he claims to get “turned on by intellectual stuff” – which he thinks is what ‘sodomy’ means.

When the interviewer reveals to him it means something quite different he affirmed: “What? No, not that. That’s definitely not me. Oh, my God.”

He is addicted to his own app

Rad claims he is “addicted” to Tinder and uses it to find dates, himself, saying: ‘Every other week I fall in love with a new girl’.

He does not condone penis pictures

The nude images sent to love interests on the app is apparently not what the site is intended for, which Rad strives to make clear: “I do not condone penis pictures – that is just NOT who I am.”

“Attraction is nuanced”

Rad goes as far to admit he has dated women who his “friends think are ugly” because he cares more about an “intellectual challenge” rather than how attractive someone is.
