Your support makes all the difference.Sarah Palin is back. The Republican nominee turned commentator turned reality TV contestant has finally re-emerged on a political stage to endorse someone as equally outspoken and uncontainable as herself.
As orators, Palin and Donald Trump share a number of similarities. Both have a tendency to veer off script, both demonstrate a love for hyperbole and both give memorable speeches that involve a lot of shouting.
Her speech in Iowa was no exception. The former Governor of Alaska, who holds great sway among evangelical voters, stepped forward to declare Trump the man to “kick Isis’s ass” - with “no pussy footing around”. In amongst her lashings of praise a bellowing Palin also highlighted Trump’s “quiet generosity” and “compassion” as he stood, somewhat awkwardly, to the side.
