Ryan Reynolds was the victim of a hit-and-run in Vancouver on Sunday.

The actor’s publicist told the Associated Press that he was struck down by a paparazzo when he was driving a car through an underground parking garage.

Leslie Sloane claimed that “the driver fled the scene”, but added, “Ryan is okay.”

The 38-year-old Canadian, who is from Vancouver, was in the city to shoot scenes for forthcoming film Deadpool.

Blake Lively, his wife, was away in Los Angeles on the press trail for her new film, The Age of Adaline.

Still, he found the time to joke about the accident on Twitter on Sunday after a reporter tweeted to ask him how he was doing following the accident:
